Let's talk about Arkansas weather, y'all--
It can not be predicted. It can not be persuaded. It can be so incredibly ugly, but if you look hard enough, you can find beauty in every curve ball Arkansas weather decides to throw. Kimberly and her mother were not too hyped about the overcast, cold, windy, gray day that showed up on what was supposed to be a beautiful afternoon for Kim's bridal portraits. We pushed through anyway, and at times we just let the wind "do its thang", and the beauty that comes with just accepting what you're dealt can be observed from her GORGEOUS wind blown photos. There is something so beautiful about the darkness, something intrigueing in the wind-blown hair...ugh. I will always love embracing the imperfections in photos, IT MAKES THEM LOOK REAL. Because IT WAS REAL. There WAS WIND. AND IT WAS A GRAY DAY. And I think to try and make a portrait session such as this one "light and airy" would be doing a real disservice to Mother Nature. ha.
Kimberly and Kyle were married this past Saturday and it was such an honor to witness a love such as theirs. I could go on and on about their wedding, and I will (in a future post), but for now just try to take in all the beauty from her Bridal Session. Thanks again to Kimberly for choosing me to document this season of life, and many, many congrats to the Newlyweds!
